Jase Steinkamp

Jase Lee Michael Steinkamp, infant son, of Matthew and Kiley Garfield Steinkamp of Mt. Sterling, Illinois was stillborn at 12:52 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Surviving along with his parents are his maternal grandmother Kathy Mitchell of Mt. Sterling, maternal grandfather Richard Garfield of Mt. Sterling, paternal grandmother Donna Jones of Wilson, Kansas and paternal grandfather Michael Steinkamp of Quincy.  Maternal great grandparents Noah and Amy Branscum of Mt. Sterling, paternal great grandparents Roger and Virginia Kirkpatrick, Mick and Vicki Steinkamp and Lucille and Dennis Liesen all of Quincy.  Aunts and uncles Courtney Garfield of Mt. Sterling, Camden Behrends (Nadine) of Mt. Sterling and Kryschella Christman (Virgil) of Ellsworth, Kansas. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother Marjorie Branscum and an Uncle Josh Stephenson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 in the Versailles West Side Cemetery with Pastor Ethan Sefton officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling.

Memorials are suggested to the family to help with medical expenses.
