Robert Lee “Bobbie” Blair, age 53, of Mt. Sterling, Illinois passed away at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois.

He was born May 12, 1964 in Quincy, Illinois the son of Robert Sidney and Emma A. Amen Blair.

Bobbie worked for Precision Electric in Mt. Sterling for 25 years and earlier in life worked as a logger.

He graduated from Brown County High School with the class of 1983. 

Bobbie always enjoyed fishing,  gardening and he especially loved having cookouts with his family.

Survivors include his mother Emma Blair of Clayton.  3 children Levi Blair (Theresa) of Mt. Sterling, Brooke Blair (Nate White) of Murrayville, Illinois and Brittany Nave (Steven) of Livingston, Montana.  7 grandchildren Erica, Lily, Olivia, Max, Makayla, Matthias and Dylan.  2 sisters Amy Clark of Versailles and Melissa Blair of Clayton.  His favorite niece Jess Clark and a nephew Kyle Clark both of Mt. Sterling.  Several great nieces, great nephews and cousins also survive along with his longtime friend and companion, Pat Kerr Cole of Mt. Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his father and 1 brother James William Blair in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Matt Haberman officiating.

Burial will be in the Clayton South Side Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.  Friends may also call from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
