I extend my sincere sympathy to Joe and the Geisler family, to Phillip Krupps and the Krupps family, as well as the Beatty family. Your beloved Sheryl was such a special person who touched so many of us with her many gifts as well as her passion for sharing Christ's message with others. She made such a difference to so many lives in the entire area--especially Brown County. She will be missed greatly by all. There are few people that come along in our lives as special as Sheryl.

Joe and Philip, Katie and Seth: Our deepest sympathy and know that you have our prayers. Sheryl was one of the kindest, sweetest and most sincere lady we have ever known. Many years ago we were so impressed by her dedication to the youth of the community - including both of our own children. Her ability to be so positive and optimistic in the face of physical challenges was a tribute to her strong faith. In that she was a beacon light for us all. We have been so enriched by our contact with Sheryl.

Sheryl had lasting effects on each of my children: one through her nursing skills helping a beginner, one through TEC, and one through youth group. Many times people speak of a "Life well Lived", and these words could even be used for Sheryl Geisler, yet it doesn't seem to come close to defining Sheryl' journey. To me the words "Victory in Jesus" come more close. Her voice as a musician of song was soft, moving, and angelic; her voice as a "Disciple" was truly bold, strong, and filled with Holy Spirit power. It all began with two loving parents loving her to faith and knowledge of her Lord and Savior. It continued with her union with Joe and their loving their three children to faith and a desire to "serve the Lord" with joy. These three wonderful children (of God) became "nurse" to both Sheryl and Joe as they lovingly cared for her till the very moment God called her home. Sheryl has taught us so well how to "take up our cross and follow HIM", and in her witness to us she was truly "Jesus with skin on". Now HIS PROMISE is fulfilled, and she is given her crown, she is given her room, she claims the victory as she begins her eternal life. All the suffering is gone and done, and now her eternal joy begins ....... and we, the Church, we who in her eyes were her brothers and sisters in Christ, sing out "Alleluia, Amen". We are blessed !!!

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Sheryl! We knew Sheryl through Cursillo, yet it has been several years since we have seen her. What a strong, passionate, joy-filled, faith-filled servant of Christ she was! We were always in awe of how vibrant she was and how she could light up a room, simply with her smile. Thank you for sharing her with us through Cursillo! Sheryl's physical crosses will be no more! She will now see God face-to-face, which was always her goal in life. God bless each of you!

I kept thinking to myself what an awesome sacrifice from this woman to have a stroke and still want to be on a team and play such beautiful music from her guitar for all of us and she knew none of us. What a fighter and great example of selfless love. She was a fighter and great inspiration. God bless you Sheryl.

Message from Weldon & Phyllis Vanzant
July 18, 2017 2:24 PM
One of God's most beautiful Angels has been called home. Her heart, smile, empathy for others and most especially her love of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit who has walked this journey with her. How the Heavens are rejoicing that her pain is over and she completed the race in Grace, Love & Charity.
