Alison Virginia Lung, age 68, of Mt. Sterling Illinois, passed away at 4:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Jacksonville, Illinois.
She was born March 18,1952 the daughter of Ivan and Patricia Kirby Derry. She married Gary Lee Lung on March 21, 1986 in Mt. Sterling, Illinois and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2015.
Mrs. Lung was a homemaker and had also worked as a C.N.A. for several nursing homes.
She always enjoyed reading, gardening, and listening to both country and rock music. Alison especially loved going to yard sales and was proud of her large collection of ceramic owls.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Youngblood (Scott) of Sesser, Illinois, and Rouie Parrick. Two grandchildren Trentyn and Jamison Youngblood both of Sesser, Illinois. Two sisters Rhonda McKellar of Springfield, Arkansas, Patrica Jean Fletcher of Trumann, Arkansas and one brother Bill Mendenhall of Hot Springs, Arkansas also survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Crystal Hart.
Cremation will be accorded and there will be no services.
