Anna Mae Garner

Anna Mae Garner, age 85, of Mt. Sterling, Illinois passed away at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her residence. 

She was born June 11, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of William L. and Williametta Wilkerson Davis.

Anna Mae was a homemaker and earlier in life worked for the Hornsby’s Store in Mt.Sterling and Davis & Cleavers in Quincy. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Douglas William Garner, her parents, 4 brothers Ruben, Ralph, Paul and Leroy Davis and 1 sister Martha Christy.

Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Mt.Sterling City Cemetery with Pastor Angel Rosales officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to Brown County Against Cancer and may be left at or mailed to the Hendricker Funeral Home, 406 South Capitol Ave., Mt.Sterling, IL 62353.
