Obituary

 

Beth Ann Clark, age 48, of Timewell, Illinois passed away at 10:38 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at her residence. 

She was born January 3, 1972 in Morgan County, Illinois the daughter of James Joseph and Marilyn Ann Nolan Wort.  She married Von Clark on September 25, 1993 in the Holy Family Catholic Church in Mt. Sterling and he survives. 

Beth was an employee of Dot Foods in Mt. Sterling for over 20 years.  She attended St. Mary’s School and graduated from Brown County High School with the class of 1990 and then attended John Wood Community College in Quincy.  

Beth was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mt. Sterling. 

She was also a member of Action Brown County and truly loved spending time with her friends “The 3 Michelle’s” and “The Senior Mom’s Club”.  Beth was happiest when she was with her family. 

Survivors include her husband Von Clark of Timewell, Illinois.  1 son Nolan Clark of Timewell, Illinois.  Her parents James and Marilyn Wort of Mt. Sterling, Illinois.  3 brothers Jerry Wort (Marcia) of Quincy, Illinois, Edward Wort (Laura) of St. Charles, Missouri and Jeff Wort of Beardstown, Illinois.  Her mother-in-law Carol Shepard of Mt. Sterling, Illinois.  Sister-in-law Sherry Vermillion (Daryl) of Mt. Sterling, Illinois also survives along with several aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Gregory and Chris Wort. 

Cremation will be accorded and graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2020 in the Mt. Sterling Catholic Cemetery with Father Aaron Kuhn officiating. 

There will be no visitation. 

Memorials are suggested to Brown County Against Cancer or the Brown County United Way and may be left or mailed to the Hendricker Funeral Home, 406 South Capitol Avenue, Mt. Sterling, Illinois 62353.
