Frank Stout, Sr.

Frank Marion Stout, Sr., age 78, of Bowen, Illinois and formerly of Timewell, Illinois passed away at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at his residence. 

He was born May 10, 1941 in Plymouth, Illinois the son of Frank Lafayette and Ferne Darlene Little Stout.  

Mr. Stout was a heavy equipment operator through the Operating Engineers Local 965 in Springfield, Illinois where he served with pride.  Frank later owned and operated Stout Landscaping and Excavating for several years.   

He attended Brown County High School in Mt. Sterling.  

Survivors include 4 children Terasa Curtis (Wilbur) of Parrish, Florida, Janice Baker (David) of Quincy, Illinois, Frank Stout, Jr. of Elvaston, Illinois and Rebecca McAllister (Derek) of Sutter, Illinois.  7 grandchildren Tasha Easley, Alisha Curtis, Brendan Stout, Jarricca Stout, Brooke Barnes, Claire McAllister and Briar McAllister. 7 great grandchildren Drake, Trevor, Bentley, Braxton, Brayson, Addalynn and Kyler.  1 brother Roland Stout of St. Louis, Missouri. 4 sisters Sonja Downing (Richard) of Painted Post, New York, Bonnie Stout of Raymond, Illinois, Karen Scheer (Michael) of Sherrard, Illinois and Barbara Spencer (Steve) of Odessa, Texas also survives along with several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Richard and Roger Stout. 

Per his request, cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling with Pastor Matt Haberman officiating. 

Burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Mounds Cemetery near Timewell, Illinois. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
