Leonard James “Jimmy” Ebrey, age 67, of Godfrey, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence.
He was born July 16, 1953 in Alton, Illinois the son of Leonard and Thelma Irene Carpenter Ebrey. He married Robert Bryant Andrews, Sr. on February 19, 2017 and they passed away simultaneously on February 1, 2021.
Jimmy was a customer service representative for Mastercard in St. Louis, Missouri for several years before retiring.
He graduated from Reno, Nevada High School.
Survivors include 14 step children Brandy Apple, Robert Andrews, Jr., Brandon Andrews, Bridgette Andrews, Genevieve Black, Jeremy Gowan, Alicia Andrews, Josh Andrews, Dylan Andrews, Jamie Andrews, Randy Andrews, Blake Andrews, Brock Andrews and Bryce Andrews. 1 brother Richard Ebrey (Linda). 1 sister Dorothy Knox. 24 step grandchildren. 2 step great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Special friend/nephew Lee Ebrey (Tonya), special friend/niece Alyson Ebrey (Josh), who is expecting a baby that Jim was thrilled about and special friends Jeremy and Matthew Myers. His mother-in-law Kay Anderson. Special sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and a special friend Tony Marzuco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Kenneth Ray “Rocky” Ebrey, 3 sisters Judy Ogle, Dixie Beddingfield and Marilyn Shank and his stepfather Julius Wegs.
We know that Jimmy deserves a beautiful tribute and understand that under normal circumstances many friends would love to attend. But sadly due to the current health situation and under the direction of the local health department, the services are to be conducted with only family members in attendance.

Burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Benville Cemetery in Brown County, Illinois.

There will be no visitation.
